Farmhouse Tables
Our farmhouse tables are designed with durability, aesthetics and function in mind, in both regular sizes and bespoke dimensions suited to you and your space. We work in both metric and imperial sizes so we can discuss your requirements in any format you are comfortable with.
Lengths from 4 feet up to 10 feet (longer tables are available on request).
Widths of 34 inches and 43 inches (extra widths are available on request).
Leg thickness: with our turned legs you choose either the regular 94mm wide or the larger 120mm wide leg. We also offer Bobbin legs, 3″ and 4″ tapered legs. There are also further options of either straight legs or an X frame base – please contact us for availability.
Farmhouse Benches
Our farmhouse benches are designed with durability, aesthetics and function in mind, in both regular sizes and bespoke dimensions suited to you and your space.
Length from 3 feet up to 10 feet (longer lengths are available upon request).
Width of 15 inches (allowing adequate room for your posterior without hanging over the edge!)
Our benches measure 46 centimetres or 18 inches from floor to bum – a perfect size for standard table heights.
Benches above 8 feet in length also benefit from an additional central pair of legs, adding to the stability and strength of the bench.
Traditional beech farmhouse chairs (regular & carver styles) in both slat back and spindle back designs- unfinished or hard wax oiled to match your chosen tabletop shade
Choosing the size of table
All spaces and all people are different. To ensure you receive the perfect table to suit your requirements, please consider the following guide on how to comfortable accommodate all guests.
Existing chairs: measure the widest area of the seat and multiply that by the number of chairs anticipated along one length of the table. Then, add approximately 10 centimetres (4 inches) per chair to the total. This will give you the gap required between the table legs.
Table dimensions in a specific area: An accurate way of calculating a suitable size is to clear the space and lay down a sheet or similar on the floor. This will allow you to visualise the size of the table (and the surrounding circulation space) and adjust the dimensions accordingly.
Rule-of-thumb guide to table lengths – use as an initial size guide only:
up to 4 adults – 5ft; up to 6 adults – 6ft; up to 8 adults – 7ft; up to 10 adults – 9ft; up to 12 adults – 10ft;
Coat Racks with Shelves
Our coat racks are made to order, finished in Farrow & Ball with the shelves finished in Fiddes Hard Wax Oil. The hooks are heavy duty Cast Iron. Available in the following sizes:

Other Projects
We are happy to offer advice regarding any projects you may have in mind. Over the years we have built shop display items, retail counters and till points, kitchen islands, sideboards, as well as various other pieces of furniture.
We have also repurposed various items into more useful pieces, from fairground stalls into bars through to barrels for music festival outlet counters – if you have an idea just give us a call to discuss!
Finishes
We use both Fiddes and Briwax products for our top surface finishing – please take a look at both companies’ websites for more details on the shades available. These can either be Hard Wax Oil or regular Wax variants – please familiarise yourself with the benefits of each.
For the frames and legs we either use Farrow & Ball’s Estate Eggshell (currently offering circa 132 shades) or match the table top finishes available.

Timescales & Delivery Options
Our standard lead time is between three and four weeks from date of order, subject to any special design requirements or finishes. Should you require a specific delivery date or timescale, please do get in touch.
We offer our own personal delivery service within 200 miles of our workshop in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire. Simply let us know which items and sizes you are interested in along with a destination postcode, and we will create a quote for you.
We also welcome personal collection and will happily assist with loading items into your vehicle.
